DREAMSTONE TOURNEY XXVIII
A Day of Tournaments

The People's Barony of Bryn Madoc
invites one and all to
Dreamstone Tourney 28
to be held on April 20-22, 2007
at Camp Rutledge, Hard Labor Creek State Park in Rutledge, Georgia.

ACTIVITIES

FIRST TOURNAMENT — Bridesmaid Tournament. This is a single elimination tournament open only to those who have never won a tournament before. There are no weapon restrictions.

SECOND TOURNAMENT — Dreamstone Tournament. This is the traditional double-elimination tournament to determine the Defender of the Dreamstone for the next year. The current Defender is His Highness Boru. There are no weapon restrictions.

Youth Combat Tournament. This is a tournament for the youth of the Kingdom. It will be held in tandem with the Great Weapons Tourney.

THIRD TOURNAMENT — Great Weapons Tournament. This is a single-elimination tournament. Only great weapons, (two-handed weapons over 48" long), will be allowed. No spears.

FOURTH TOURNAMENT — Spear Tournament. This is a two-man team spear tournament. It will be single elimination, with both team mates being eliminated during a round.

The final rounds for all tournaments shall be the best two out of three.

Contestants for all tournaments must present themselves with a list tree shield bearing their arms. Contestants without a list tree shield must obtain one from the Baron, (and you may not like what you get). Contestants are also urged to present themselves in their heraldic best, for which a prize will be given out.

The tournaments will be followed by a Feast, a Revel, and a Bardic Circle.
