SITE

The site for Danelaw is Hard Labor Creek State Park in Rutledge, Georgia. Please note: We are using the small group camp, Daniel Morgan, instead of the large group camp. Camp Daniel Morgan has 76 beds in cabins; tent camping is not available on site (but is available elsewhere in the park). A few cottages are also available for rent through the park. For more information on tenting and cottages, call 1-800-864-7275 or go to the Georgia State Parks system's website.

The event site opens at 5 p.m. Eastern time on Friday and closes at 11 a.m. on Sunday. No pets allowed in the group camp area. Georgia State Parks' policy states that “consumption or use of alcoholic beverages or intoxicants is unlawful in any public-use area.”

DIRECTIONS

A map to the park may be found at the Hard Labor Creek State Park website. From I-20, take the Newborn Rd. exit (exit no. 105) into Rutledge and take Fairplay Road to the park. The entrance to Camp Daniel Morgan is on the right, before you get to the stone bridge.
